Cute little idler which is somewhat lacking in late-game features resulting in some solid grind before that last achievement pops. Worth picking up at regular price if you don't mind relatively minimal interaction throughout and aren't bothered by the occasional glitching panda and cat animation. Note there's zero offline progress and this is demanding enough on my older PC for it to impact other games if you've got this one running in the background.

Expect 75-80 hours for completion, my playtime total reads low due to sporadic internet issues during the past couple weeks. Your actual interaction with the game will mostly end around the 35 hour mark aside from adding the odd panda worker until their hiring costs become prohibitively high.

Nope. Several years of development and all they managed to churn out was a dollar store bargain bin copy of No Man's Sky, just minus...well...anything that makes NMS great. Honestly unsure why I bought this due to my past experience with Reverie and their "finished" projects, but I figured I should give it a chance cuz hey space game. I really shouldn't have lol.

Stars End may have left EA but it still feels super rough and in need of at least a solid year of dev time it'll probably never get. There remain mentions in menus of "upcoming" and "future" features which never materialized, etc. Yeah, this is one of those games, what I love to call a Pump N Dump. Although the developers in this case were still around a few months back promising patches, updates, yadda yadda it never happened *as usual* it seems. Stars End runs like a hot mess too, working the heck out of my GPU which exceeds recommended specs despite turning everything including the resolution down to the lowest it can go. Average daily player count is one and a half people, presumably because one dude is laying down to try and avoid being counted out of shame for trying this but Big Statistic got him anyways.
