I bought this game several years ago, and never got around to playing it until now, and for some reason, everything is happening at double the speed. The lines of dialogue of the first cutscene were triggering so fast that the normal-speed voices were overlapping each other. Then the gameplay was also ridiculously fast. I had to check a video on YouTube to see how fast that game is supposed to run, and sure enough, my game is has indeed amped up the speed, in the cutscenes and the gameplay segments. I have no idea how to fix that.

Not recommended. Buy it for a console or something.

Man, I can't trust PC versions of games anymore. Consoles are much more reliable.

I enjoyed this game a lot more than I thought I would. Considering it's a 3D game made by Sonic Team, I expected it to be buggy. But I haven't come across any bugs, or at least nothing noticable to me. It was fun.

However, I don't remember how much it cost when it was still being sold on Steam, but I was on my PS3 earlier, looking at the PlayStation store, since the game is no longer available on Steam or Xbox, and saw that the game is about $10. This game took me about an hour and a half to beat. I've played classic games that were $10 or less, but 20 times longer.

So as much as I enjoyed it, only having 6 levels that can be beaten in such a short time was rather disappointing.

EDIT: Looking through my purchase history, it seems I bought it for $1.31

My laptop:
-13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900H
-NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU GDDR6 @ 6GB (96 bits)

Word for word, that's the information shown on Armory Crate.

Not too long ago, I played Alien: Isolation on this laptop with no problems with performance at full resolution (1980x1080) and high graphics. But this old-ass game keeps dropping in frames, no matter what I do with the settings to try and make it run better.

This is my second time requesting a refund on this game.

Gave up at the tutorial. Got to the crime scene, and the game kept saying "Press 'ready tool'" without saying what key I'm supposed to press. So I press the entire top row until I think "T" took out the UV light. Then I thinking pressing it again took out the camera. Then I pressed "R" and the UV light and camera went away. So I press "R" again and the light comes out and "T" for the camera. Immediate confusion ensues.

Then I get some laser tool thing, and after the lights are turned off, I move towards the mannequin, and I see the "ready tool" instruction again. So I press "T", but nothing happens. I press "R" and nothing happens.

That was when I gave up. The game can't even get the tutorial right. Hell, I struggled a bit to figure out how to duck under the tape. I pressed "CTRL" and "C" before I realised I had to press "E". Then the tutorial for how to go under the tape showed up AFTER I already went under.

I found this on the Xbox store. Please tell me the Xbox version is better, since I just now saw some reviews saying that this is just a bad PC port.

Over 7 hours, and I still can't get used to all these stupid menus. They have proven to be the most confusing and overwhelming out of any other game I played. There is also the crafting and cargo managing, which I am also bad at.

Very interesting. But it needs a better way to differentiate what's a platform you can land on and what isn't, but other than that, this was a very enjoyable preview of the full game. I'm eager to play more.

I will say, however, that the protagonist's jump is a little high in comparison to his appearance, which tends to mess with me, sometimes. I accidentally jumped into enemies when I just wanted to go high enough to attack them.

Overall, it was a good game, even though I thought the final part at the Temple of Souls was a little frustrating for me. It's a good game overall.

I was a little disappointed with the length of the game. I knew it was going to be a very short game based on how quickly I was completing the first few levels. Considering I was looking forward to this game for years, I just expected a lot more from the game, I guess.

Still, it was a good experience, and I would recommend people play this.

Free weekend player here.

This game, to me, got incredibly boring really fast. I assume it's meant to be played with actual friends, and since I don't have any to play this with, I just couldn't get into it. Plus, the people I was playing against online were seemingly trying to waste as many shots as possible in areas that they could have easily gone through. I hate playing against people who don't even try.

So yeah, I guess, unless you have friends to play this game with and you're not a loner like me, don't bother getting this game.

I actually played another golf game on mobile called Golf Battle by Miniclip, which reminds me of this, but somehow way more fun.

I don't have VR, so I have to play with a controller or keyboard. The only problem is that the game has no controls whatsoever.

Literally, none of the buttons I push do anything. When I see the "Ready" button on the vehicle's dashboard, the X button on my controller starts the race. But then that's it. The left thumbstick doesn't steer the vehicle, and the right one only moves the mouse cursor around, which doesn't make sense. And not a single one of the other buttons does anything except for the pause button. I also tried to play with the keyboard. Same deal, no change whatsoever.

Before anyone says anything. I did go into the control binding thing, and tried to see if I could fix the issue with that, but I can't even change anything in those options.

And to think I actually thought the game looked interesting. How does a game with no controls have a 90+ percent rating? Good thing I only played it during the free weekend.

This is by far the best racing game I've ever played. I used to play this game a lot on my Nintendo 64. But it feels a lot better to play it on Steam using my XBOX controller.

I really love the speed of the pod racer. I especially love it because the controls are so damn tight and responsive. It feels very satisfying to go at top speed while turning around corners and obstacles.

I love the tracks themselves. They are so unique for every planet you race on. Plus, I really love seeing the designs of environments that you drive through.

I don't even need to say anything about the music. It's amazing and very much suiting to the game.

This is a great racing game, and I would recommend this to hell and back.
