Sorry, but even for 2007, this game is painfully ♥♥♥♥.

Like this game's entire difficulty is based on throwing at you ♥♥♥♥ tons of enemies, sometimes even from all sides. If you will play this on harder difficulties, your entire "gameplay" will be dying and getting facts you didn't ask for (like thanks for telling me the price of a B-2 Bomber for 10th time, I really couldn't sleep before not knowing that...). The difficulty is even higher since the enemy AI goes after you specifically (like if the enemy AI realized it can win by simply focusing on the player) and also the friendlies are as useful as using a condom on a fleshlight...

Levels feel pretty short - like I think Half-Life 2 levels are larger than levels in this game. The action is mostly scripted and most of the time you are basically thrown into a "battle", where killing enemies is almost pointless, since they seem to spawn infinitely until you reach a designated point or until the scripting of those levels says so. I honestly think some sequences in this game feel like glorified shooting ranges with extra steps, since more aggressive playstyle will easily get you killed, so you will most of the time have to be a ♥♥♥♥♥ and stay behind cover, because sometimes even poking your head out can insta-kill you in not even a second.

Another issue is that (supposedly, since I really don't feel like I wanna find out) playing multiplayer is a security risk to your system, making you vulnerable to getting you computer compromised. And almost 20 Euros for almost 20 years old game - a game that is seriously outdated and which is a potential threat? Like what the ♥♥♥♥?!

I tried (like someone suggested through his (also) negative review) RLJ 2.0 Beta mod through IW3Mod interface to mitigate the dumb AI and to make the enemy AI shoot others and not just the player, but even then, it's a ♥♥♥♥ game and the mod seems to also change how grenades work, basically making you paper-thin and just the indicator showing on the HUD can mean death rather than getting hurt bad.

I will say this: shooting is nice and I like how the game switches between SAS and USMC every two missions, and I also liked the AC130 mission, but overall, this game is trash, even for 2007 standards, and that makes me question: How the ♥♥♥♥ did CoD became so big in the first place if they were mediocre at best?

Don't buy this game. You don't really miss out on anything here and multiplayer is (supposedly) hazardous. So it's basically wasteful to even give this a shot. Because there isn't anything.
