Okay game, very chill but the missions are almost identical (very repetitive)

I originally finished Maneater back in 2022 on an older rig without issues.

Now on a modern system, the game may crash on launch or not start at all.
This seems to be related to newer Intel CPUs.
After applying fixes from Steam discussions, the game became playable again.

In my case, this launch command helped:
cmd /c "set OPENSSL_ia32cap=:~0x20000000 && %command%"

After the fix, I played the Truth Quest DLC for about 5 hours straight without crashes. However, even after fixing the launch issue, I still experienced occasional stuttering during combat.

Overall, it’s a fun game, but newer hardware may require manual fixes to make it run properly.

Fun arcadey game that I wish I could genuinely give a positive review. BUT the optimization is unacceptable and it really sucks the enjoyment out of it.
Constant crashing, freezing, and stuttering (i.e 100x worse than 7 Days To Die). All the suggested fixes only minimized the crashes.
Why isn't Tripwire Interactive labeled as a cyber terrorist organization yet? They sabotage every game they publish. Even their flagship series is going down the drain with KF3.
The developer "Blindside Interactive" consist of Tripwire employees and the game was last updated Dec 2021 with radio silence since. So this is effectively abandonware that will never be patched.
