Couldnt get through the intro sequences without mods, a 100 GB of Mods later I can kill dragons by throwing cabbages at them - 10/10

Don't skip out on this because you don't feel tech savvy and don't want to mod, it's extremely easy to get an amazing experience by just installing the FUS Modlist (https://github.com/Kvitekvist/FUS). Also the whole modding community is extremely helpful and there are solutions for EVERYTHING, these guys restored my faith in humanity.

Bethesda; I would have paid $60 for this in 2026 its so good if I didn't have to spend 6 hours modding the VR game to be VR. Just sayin.

Do NOT buy this at full price, if you don't mod it you will find there isn't much here for VR it's just Skyrim... but worse. For $10-$14 and a few hours of modding, well this can be one of the best VR titles out there but you WILL have to put in the work. Mod Organizer 2 can help keeps things straight. Worth it on sale with mods. You modders are AMAZING, just wow. Bethesda, great bones and frame you built, Do better.

I played through the game and got 100% achievements without mods with an Oculus Quest 2. I think people overexaggerate how the problems the base game has, it plays fine. I think when you start comparing this to a lot of other VR games, then this game does seem bad in terms of mechanics. But I really enjoyed the experience. It's skyrim with motion controls, nothing more and nothing less. I didn't get too sick just running the world, mainly just in parts of the dragonborn DLC areas. I wouldn't recommend this game if you do get motion sick easily. While the teleportation works fine and helps cheesing certain parts of the game, playing through like that doesn't seem fun.
