Tutorial SA 3 fails to run due to Scipy import error

Oh, I didn't get a notification that there was a new answer on this thread, so it took me a while to stumble upon it. I haven't been using DAE Tools lately. I can refer you to my Q&A on MATLAB Answers, if that is of any use to you. Note the comment. If you only need to interpolate from CSV for simulation and don't care about parameter estimation/sensitivity analysis etc., you might as well use the code provided to me earlier by Dragan, which I posted here. Actually, I wanted to start using those...

Dear Dragan, I was trying to pass an external function to DAE Tools (interp1d from Scipy), as described in tutorial14. Unfortunately, I get an error saying: File "...\ADM0_2h.py", line 191, in <module> consoleRun()</module> File "...\ADM0_2h.py", line 179, in consoleRun simulation.Initialize(daesolver, datareporter, log) RuntimeError: Invalid call exception in function: dae::core::adNode::GetComputeStackSize, source file: .\nodes_compute_stack.cpp, line: 462 Invalid runtime node What does this error...

I've assembled an easier version, with q_in = 0. Also, I am ignoring units, so I can use days instead of seconds as base time unit. Unfortunately, integration does no start, because of failed initilization: Sundials IDAS solver cowardly failed to calculate initial conditions at TIME = 0; IDA_NO_RECOVERY IDAS solver error in module 'IDAS' in function 'IDACalcIC': The residual routine or the linear setup or solve routine had a recoverable error, but IDACalcIC was unable to recover. [IDA_NO_RECOVERY]...

Dear Dragan, thanks for looking into this. Actually, I think my optimization problem could be implemented with the current tools. I just don't know how. My biggest question mark is how to combine both Run() methods. Maybe you could give me a hint on that. On one hand, I need the discontinuity handling, on the other hand, I need to properly address the objective function calculation. Regards, Manuel
