OK, I am a blithering idiot. I did not realize that you could manually click on the options in the lower right corner to toggle the settings. Turning on DTR in the options manually made it all come back again. Maybe this thread will help someone else from bumbling around like I did! Cheers, Paul
I can confirm that asserting the [digital] DTR is working on 2 different applications. Could we play with an option to do that in YAT? Thank you, Paul
Hi Matthias, Thank you for the reply. I had an update over the weekend and now I can provide better information. Quectel recommended in their tool (QCOM) that I enable the DTR option. Well, I happen to not like QCOM at all but it did give me an thread to follow. Inside of HHD's Device Monitoring Studio you can do a custom flow control setup. I enabled just DTR in that setup and the DMS started working again! That tells me there is a way to interact with the Windows layers for this driver. I played...
Matthias, I work quite often with Quectel modems. Typical to find a USB port that, along with a driver, enumerates several functions on the modem including a COM port. I have been using YAT against this for years with great success. The macros and command scripting make YAT a perfect solution for long commands with repeated uses. Well, I had to update FW on a modem recently and found that YAT and the COM port stopped working. A colleague mentioned that the same thing happened to him independently....
Mattias, Apologies if this has been asked and I could not find the answer. I have a situation where I must put individual FTDI sniffers in Rx mode on a bus between an MCU and component. I open two terminals to watch them. Is there any way / feature that could blend or interlace those into one log stream? MCU Tx watch (17:03:31.455) AT+QNWINFO (17:03:31.583) AT+GSN (17:03:32.334) AT+QIACT=1 (17:06:02.374) AT+QIACT=1 (17:06:02.438) AT+QIACT=1 MCU Rx watch (17:03:31.469) +QNWINFO: "EDGE","310260","GSM...
@maettu_this This did not quite work and I do not see why yet. If I run the above, this is what I get: AT+COPS? AT+CREG? +COPS: 0,0,"T-Mobile",8 OK AT+CREG? +COPS: 0,0,"T-Mobile",8 OK AT+CREG? +COPS: 0,0,"T-Mobile",8 OK AT+CREG? +COPS: 0,0,"T-Mobile",8 This shows the AT+CREG? command repeating, yet the response showing on the terminal is from the AT+COPS? command. Any suggestions? Apologies for being a bit daft. I am also trying to figure something else out so I am not spending as much time as I...
Great Matthias! You are correct that I probably would not have spotted that. It seemed with the current system that everything needed to be on the same line for the LineRepeat to work, but I could not spot how to break the commands up. Thank you and I will use this for sure in my development! Cheers, Paul
Hi there Mathias! I have a basic question that has confused me. I have read and tried different methods but this task is beyond me. I want to have a repeating macro that has different intervals between commands. Example: AT+COPS? delay 1s AT+CREG? wait .5s Repeat all commands I tried setting the default send settings. I tried making it a multi-line file but each has some different issue. How would I achieve this? Thank you! Paul
