As an aside, you mention installing 'headless' java - JX is a UX heavy application, so I doubt it will run in headless mode. I don't think that's related to the problem of the SSL class not being available, but it would be worth running with the 'normal' java to make sure... Chris

version numbers broken on macOS

Hi Julian, Thanks for catching that - it looks like the value in the OSX .plist file was set manually and wasn't being updated between versions. If you want to get the version directly from the app, use the Help -> About JXplorer menu option, and I'll look at updating the build system to modify the .plist file for the next release. cheers, Chris

Hi Gilbert, ... we're a small project, and we use a third party installer to generate packages for eight common platforms - unfortunately this means I'm not able to provide much help with installer problems, as it's a bit of a black box! However if java is running on your system then unzipping the project and running that should work :-). cheers, - Chris

Need a bit more info, as I don't have this platform to test on :-). Where is the install failling, and have you tried the 'pure java' version where you just download the source package and build it locally? Have you confirmed java is correctly installed?
