I have tried it now :) Not all the features that I had with MPC, but it's definite;y a cut above the rest. Sort of surprised Peppermint doesn't include it in the installation. Thanks for the good suggestion. :)

Hoping this will be an easy one. Have checked mvp,smplayer, and parole, none of them have what I want. Googled linux media players but none specify what I'm looking for, which is ... Used to use Media Player Classic in Windows. Could open my video storage drive, go to a folder of a particular program, open that folder and select Season 1, or 2 or whatever, then right click and select "Play with MPC", and MPC would then play every file in that folder in numerical order, without me ever touching it...

Thanks for clearing that up for me. So many of the help/explanatory articles I've read talked about using the Control Panel. Thought perhaps I'd gone blind in my old age, lol. I like this OS. Tried out linux some years ago, stayed with Windows due to lack of interest in the terminal. Nice to see that Peppermint came along to allow folks who don't care to bash away at the terminal to get into linux. Thanks again, and have a great day! :)

I sent 30-plus years on Windows, so be gentle with me, it's my first time, LOL. I just installed Peppermint yesterday and have been familiarizing myself with the new OS. In reading different articles I find several mentions of the Peppermint Control Panel. Where is it? I can find no such thing in my installation. I did run a command in terminal ( lsb_release -a ) and the output is as follows: No LSB modules are available. Distributor ID: Debian Description: PeppermintOS Release: n/a Codename: bookworm...
