I have a veracrypt file and I put half of its storage as a hidden partition. I want to write and read in both partitions. it seems that writing in the hidden partition doesnt affect the outer partition at all because it is encapsulated inside of the outer partition, but what about writing in the outer partition? there is an option to prevent damage to the hidden partition while you write in the outer partition (you put here your hidden partition password). As long as I check this option every time...
