Noisegator itself comes with no installation process, you just download and run the exe file. To "uninstall" you just delete the noisegator exe file.
This happens with some WAV format files. If this is the case try converting them to MP3 and trying again with those.
The software is distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 2.0 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/2.0/. There is no cost or waranty and the software is also not under active development so it does not come with any official support. You are basically free to use it for what ever you want but you cannot re-distribute the software for any monetary gain.
