I came here to request this myself. Update: My mistake. This isn't exactly what I thought it was. I'll put in a new request.

Joe, I have a discussion thread that might interest you as it deals with making headings easier to link to by not auto-incrementing their names unnecessarily: https://sourceforge.net/p/chmprocessor/discussion/699221/thread/955adc38/

In the Help project created by chmProcessor, every HTML file name has a unique integer prefix. I get that this is an easy way to avoid file name collisions. But this also makes it difficult to link to specific HTML files so that an application of mine can jump to a specific "chapter" (or whatever it is — represented by one HTML file in the Help project) of the ultimate CHM file. Is this file name numbering done by chmProcessor, or is it something in a Microsoft function which is out of our control?...

Solved. Lines containing superscripted symbols were lower than the lines would usually be. Fixed by removing and tags from HTML help project's embeddedstyles.css file. Could surely have solved it by removing superscript from the input doc file too.

I run chmProcessor to create CHM files from Word doc files. I wish to control the line spacing in the CHM because I have lines overlapping each other in some of my paragraph styles. This overlap is not present in the original doc files -- only in the CHM files. Does anyone know how I can control this?

Could someone point me to how to create an HTML file to use as the "HTML Footer File"...
