I have removed Firefox from my computer and now none of my ssb's launch. all have error code refering to firefox. Why?

I went back to troubleshooting and first thing I found was that while trying to use the Disc utility to restore image, the target partition was smaller than the image. I don't know how I got past that but I thought maybe this is my problem. So I reformatted the usb pen and then ran the Disc utility to write the image. Hello Peppermint people. I just downloaded and installed the latest stable, loaded release. Nothing but problems. First, the installation failed for /user/sbin/update-system time out. <<<i went ahead and logged into the installation and this thing freezes left and right. Is there a way to update-system with the os installed?

$ /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ didn't work because you didn't include your text editor. Should have looked more like "$sudo pluma /etc/apt/sources.list.d/"

Definitely sounds like a BIOS/UEFI boot order problem. Have you checked that out yet?

Hello Peppermint people, I have been informed by Facebook that Meta is going to Block the Peppermint site on facebook if someone doesn't respond in 24 hours. I tried to investigate what they wanted but my facebook account password is not the same as Peppermint's. So, if someone with authority could review the Peppermint site and straighten this out, we won't lose facebook(not a big loss I know, but still.) I went back into facebook to try to find the warning and I can't find it. Perhaps a hack?
