Noted. CVS only records the username, so all commits from a user will get the same name and email during the conversion.

I'll go ahead then. I'll use <username>@users.sf.net as the author email in git commits from those who have been active in CVS here on Sourceforge, and for those who were only active back in the degas tree I'll use what's in the "cvsusers" file found there. If anyone prefer another email to be used for their commits; let me know. I'll also do the conversion so that each library becomes it's own git repository.

Migrate from CVS to git

Tested and verified on CentOS 7 and Mint Linux. Nice and quick work!
