I did not try Opencamera as scanner. I use Microsoft Lens for scanning. Does anyone have an open source alternative for that?

On my Galaxy S22+, the menu shows all cameras (screenshot) except when the ultrawide is selected (screenshot). Then, only after selecting the automatic ("Hauptkamera"), then reentering the selection menu all cameras are shown again.

I can confirm "Anonymous" findings on my Galaxy S22+ with Android 14 (see screenshot). The camera choosing icon is not available on the Galaxy A14 (2 cameras, Android 14).

I tested this on a Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy A14, on both it works. An old ZTE Blade V9 does not allow saving as raw.

(S22+) Samsung's camera app: With sufficiently light (!) object, it automatically switches to the 3x tele when zooming in. Open Camera: Viewing the same object, it does not switch to the 3x tele. Verified by covering the lenses one by one.

Hi Sam, I also tested your setting with open camera on a ZTE Blade V9 (Android 8.1). The zooming in doesn't occur here. This device only has the old camera API. Also the zooming in doesn't occur in Galaxy A14 (Android 14). I followed the link to stackoverflow, and I agree to what is written there, i.e. the "Hardware vendors dictate how to handle the size and aspect ratio differences between the raw camera sensor resolution, the requested preview view and video capture sizes, and the subsequent processing...

Hi Sam, I tested your setting with open camera on a Samsung Galaxy S22. The zooming in doesn't occur here. Neither in original API nor in Camera2 API.

hi, (I am the poster of the original post, but I cannot change the "anonymous" post to my account) we have a Samsung galaxy S20FE and a Samsung galaxy S22+. In both Smartphones, in open camera only the UW (ultra wide angle) and standard camera can be chosen in the open camera app. Not the tele (3x) camera, which however can be chosen in Samsung's camera app. Do I miss a setting?

you are right! I just replaced the tarball by latex2rtf-2.3.18a.tar.gz which should not contain the binaries any more.

In the MS Windows version, the tab "About" of the GUI clearly sais that it is distributed under the GNU public license. Furthermore, the file "copyright.txt" which is installed in the program folder lists all relating licenses. In the Unix version the same information is in the file "Copyright" in the source code folder. So what is the problem?

Good catch. The codes of bigcap and bigcup are mixed up. For a quick fix, open the file direct.cfg in the cfg folder of the latex2rtf installation with a text editor and change line 40 \bigcap,{\u8899}. to \bigcap,{\u8898}. and line 42 \bigcup,{\u8898}. to \bigcup,{\u8899}.

Windows introduced a "convert" command, ImageMagick in turn changed its calling syntax from "convert" to "magick convert". After updating this in the latex2png script, latex2rtf is able to process the tex file in the tikz-test.tgz (.tar.gz) archive. Will be changed in the next release.
