How do you write the files from the ramdisk to the usb drive? I haven't been able to access the usb drive as a disk while clonezilla was running.
Where is there a persistent directory the log files could be copied to when restoring to a new drive?
I cannot believe there is no way to make the log files persistent when "restoring" to a new disk - how is a user supposed to quote the log files when an error occurs? My current problem is that attempting to copy a winDoze 10 hard drive to an SSD in a new computer fails because the recovery partition, marked as "hidden NTFS" in the image, ends up failing in ntfsclone.ng because the partition is not NTFS. I tried to mount the USB stick (which IS writeable) but that failed because "ufs was compiled...
