  • Excellent project. Really easy to use.
  • Completely agree with genealogypro. Terrible application, seems easy to use, but you actually finish with a COMPLETELY unusable and unformattable usb stick. No way to access it, no way to format it, no way to remove Ventoy even through its own interface. One star is actually too much, in my experience.
  • Vento is a great tool! Just copy your ISO or other boot files to USB — no need to format every time. It is very easy to use, supports many types of OS, and works on many platforms.
  • best tool ever i used it to boot my favorite iso linux from my HD no need to copy to a flash disk to try my live iso. thanks for the developers . you make things easy
  • Ventoy is THE BEST tool to create a bootable usb drive.
  • I've been using this for my need for about a year now, it works great
  • Ventoy is absolutely great! Just a few wishes: [1] a 32 bit version of the ventoy-{version}-livecd.iso; [2] an option to add a 5GB FAT32 /dev/sda3 data partition (useful for transporting or storing files); [3] an option to add a 2GB /dev/sda4 swap partition (old 32 bit systems would benefit) Note, that "normal" users aren't able to use gParted to change the partition schema to their needs. • This tool is excellent for booting my ISO's! even better if i want to pack any Windows To Go installation on here using VHD, theres a plugin to allow VHD boot. The interface when you boot into it is very easy to use. Installing/removing Ventoy is easy, even better is that Ventoy supports Secure Boot and MBR/GPT partitions.
  • Very nice and useful. Thanks and thumbs up to the developer.
  • Excellent, using it for years and new versions continue to improve

  • It would not work with Asus Vivobook S with ARM64 to install Windows 11. In about 33 years of using software, Ventoy is up there in being the all-time worst application. It is difficult to install and configure, instructions are confusing and very hard to remove from flash drive.
  • very usefull software
  • Wow, talk about easy to use! I didn't think something like this existed.
  • This is exactly what I've been looking for years!

  • needed to rebuild a workstation with Windows 11. Been using Rufus and then started reading into how Ventoy works. I installed it on a USB device and was able to flawlessly boot with the Windows 10 ISO and get it completed. Left secure boot on in the BIOS and still worked like a champ.
  • I dunno why the only One-Star-Guy "genealogypro" gave it only that! lol (Maybe hes the 1% doing something so skewed off of normal use....) Its a great tool and only rarely failed to boot one of my ISOs. Indispensable!
  • no bad
  • Excellent thanks for the tool

  • I downloaded this expecting I could create a multi-boot flash drive that would have, in particular, Knoppix for its preloaded formatting and other formatting tools, and Kubuntu to allow me to continue thru Virtual Machine to run my many Windows programs thus eliminate any need to upgrade that OS to keep internet access, when any upgrade would be incompatible with the majority of my software. Since exFat is the best format for iso files, I so formatted a flash drive then tried to install a copy of Ventoy I had already downloaded to the same. I got multiple error messages about a missing drive that took considerable effort to stop. Once I stopped the error messages, I opened the flash drive in Explorer, only to discover the drive was being reported as having an unknown capacity and unformatted/UNFORMATTABLE! Two of my other computers reported the same results, with one of those machines having W10 as its OS, my reason for buying it was for it to be the first of my computers I would convert to Kubuntu with minimal risk since there was NOTHING on the machine I want to keep. A 4th computer did not even SEE the drive. That computer is a KFocus with Kubuntu 24.04 on it I had expected the opposite with the KFocus, as I have yet to encounter a Linux flavor that will not more quickly see drives, if not, files, that Microsoft Windows cannot, and for that reason, have frequently used Linux to repair damaged Windows (.chk) files, usually needing only to open the file in an editor, save the same, then change the file extension from .chk to whatever the original format may have been. I would not recommend this to anyone based upon my experiences

  • The best USB boot utility! For 20 years of work I have never met a more necessary program!

  • Incredible tech! I was even able to boot into it from my encrypted external SSD drive from my laptop which has secure boot enabled. Effortlessly lets you boot and run basically anything, in any format, from anywhere... while keeping all your tools on a single external SSD all at once.

  • Does exactly what you need it to do.

  • Ventoy has become an important tool in my debugging toolkit, as it allows me to store my memtest86+, Windows, linux and MacOS recovery images in one place, and not have to pick just one.

  • Great way to choose a Linux distro. All you need to do is copy the Linux iso to the USB drive, boot the USB, and Ventoy will load it. No need to constantly reformat and reload the USB.
