Full disclosure, I haven't actually tried this project, but I did want to say to "NOUSERNAME" who left a review: If you haven't used Rivendell before, it takes over the audio from the computer so that nothing but output from its logs makes sounds. So, try setting up a log to play and then see if it actually isn't outputting sound. But if that is what you were doing and still no sound, then, yeah, probably messed up.

After downloading this, It would run, but no audio. After a long update (apt-get update/upgrade) and installing VLC, I can get Rivendell to output audio on the HDMI connection, but not the USB audio device. Running rdalsconfig in a terminal gives the GUI, and it shows both HDMI and the USB adapter, but no audio on the USB. VLC plays audio from both. Anybody have an idea what I can do?
