Indocoin (INDO) is an open source peer-to-peer cryptocurrency, originally developed for the People of Indonesia. IndoCoin was originally launched on 21 May 2014. Indocoin is like Bitcoin, although it does not use SHA256 as its proof of work (POW) algorithm. Taking development cues from Tenebrix and Litecoin, Indocoin currently employs a simplified variant of scrypt. And just like how Indonesia is a place that warmly welcomes the people of the world to visit, Indocoin is also open to anyone who wants to Mine, Hold, or Exchange Indocoin.
