FrameChat is a simple and easy-to-use chat room script written in Perl, and easy to customize and install. All parts of this chat room (message window, user list, typing field, etc) are displayed in HTML Frames, hence the name FrameChat. Features include session IDs, registration system, admin controls, profiles and more! FrameChat has full and easy customization through CSS and HTML files, and is really simple to install and setup.
