First started to use DEP4E in July 2014. No prior experience of DocBook. Quickly upgraded to 2014.07.0 and reported a couple of minor issues which were quickly addressed and then upgraded to 2014.08.0. Nils provided a User Guide to help those who might want to perform some degree of customization. The most common customization will likely be to what type of TOC you want to create. The default TOC in DocBook is not best suited for an Eclipse Plugin Help but an easy customization in the Build.xml quickly solves that. Support has been great and most problems are resolved in a few days. I currently have a 200 page DocBook created as an Eclipse Plugin Help and also as a PDF. DEP4E integrates seamlessly into Eclipse and is an excellent method of creating Documentation.
