D_2D and D_3D are plotting programs with unique features, useful for data visualization and analysis. Input data should be provided as ASCII files formatted as x,y pairs or x,y,z triplets. Graphic output can be in DXF vector format, or raster image.

- D_2D: the first program ever to label multiple curves as 1, 2, 3... or a, b, c... instead of using various markers;
- D_2D: automatic labeling of extrema and zeros of line graphs;
- D_2D: precise control of marker size in isotropic plots;

- D_3D: the first program ever (1997) to accurately plot trimmed surfaces - see logo;
- D_3D: the first program ever (1997) to use 4-sided patches to plot level curves (rather than triangles), which delays the ensuing of bridge-like defects;
- D_3D: the first program ever to plot logarithmic level curves, either spaced from zero, from the global minimum point or from;
- D_3D: the first program ever to plot the color scale as part of the z-axis;
- D_3D: the first program ever to plot the gradient using plot data rather than separate gradient information;
