It works for some variables but not all. For example, used it to find references to sm_wifi_change_routine and it only finds the definition. Then tried NetworkTaskSendMsg and it found them all. A "Find in Files" does find all references to sm_wifi_change_routine. As such it is frustrating. Note that I did run gtags and ctags -R from the source root. The author should check it out better.

This works really well. Follow the instructions on the latest alpha release. Global allows for definitions and references, and this helps to get to code quickly. Some of the other plugins can get to a definition, but can't get to references (where used) due to lack of cscope plugins. This is my most used plugin and developer is helpful with suggestions/feedback.
