aMule stands for all-platform eMule file-sharing program. It is affiliated with the eMule project and was forked from xMule on 08/2003. It connects to the eDonkey2000 network, supports Linux, Mac, Solaris, *BSD platforms, and nearly every processor arch.

This past week Apple blocked aMule completely , so is there an alternative ED2K program available? I've been using / used eDonkey, eMule and for the past 3 years aMule, which did it's job very well, now I'm stumped. Thanks albie It's now 23 February 2021, does the 2.3.3 version work on Mac Catalina? Thanks again It's 28 May 2022 and still no 64 bit that works It's 31 December 2025, I've upgrader to a new iMac Tahoe but, Amule has gone for good
