certz is intended to implement a standard interface for creating and maintaining one or multiple Root and Intermediate Certification Authorities (ie, CA and ICA).

- Zip files are supported for distribution of certificates
- Basic certificate revocation list (CRL) support is included
- CA/ICA/Cert info is in name files for simplicity and reliability
- Utilities are included for viewing CA/ICA/CSR/CRL/Cert details
- Extensive error checking and reporting
- Simple and extensible online help system
