When copying a database, the feedback tab at the top should stay as long as the copy operation is going on - however, the ajax feedback div says "copying" for a very short time and vanishes - this gives the impression as if the copy is complete - if you close this browser tab, the copy might not actually complete.
Please fix this to display the "copying" or "please wait" message as long as the operation is going on on the backend
This bug was fixed in repository and will be part of a future release; thanks for reporting.
Jo,
First, are you receiving the phpmyadmin-devel mailing list messages? I have sent you some questions but you did not reply.
Second, now that 3.5.2-rc1 is released, please do not commit anything to it before discussing the issue on the phpmyadmin-devel list. The idea of a release candidate is to get some community testing; therefore, if you continue to modify it, we won't have community testing on these last fixes before the final version.
Now I'll have to release 3.5.2-rc2 containing your two bug fixes.
... unless you remove these fixes from MAINT_3_5_2.
Will not include undiscussed bug fixes in MAINT branches anymore, you're obviously right. Reverting these commits on MAINT leaving them in QA only. Reading the messages manually atm on sf.net. Which are unreplied to? I fixed the session upload.
Jo,
thanks for reverting. About the message, I wrote it on June 25, with title "testing PHP 5.4-based upload progress" and I'm not sure if you read and/or reacted to it via some patches.
Yes. See b35d605 and 5dc0f78. :)
