    Hi,
    I am getting this error on apt update

    W: Failed to fetch http://apt.pearllinux.net/dists/preslee/InRelease: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 99DAC5A557FF34FD
    W: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

    how to fix it?

    What desktop environment and version are you using? What should work is open Pearl Software Sources "sudo pearlsources" on the left click on "Authentication Keys" on the right click "Download" and then paste the key that it is looking for, in your case " 99DAC5A557FF34FD
    Should update fine after that.

    We do recommend first thing before using the Update Manager for first time just open a terminal and do " sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get full-upgrade". It's usually not required but often makes initial setup quicker and easier.
