This script is:

cd /
cmd //c start /msys.bat MSYS

To allow this to work on Win9x, /bin/cmd is also a script:

`echo $COMSPEC | sed -e 's#\\\\#/#g'` "$@"

First try something like this:

cd /bin
cmd //c start /msys.bat MSYS

If that works, the "cd bin" in msys.bat doesn't work for some reason. You 
might also like to try this to verify that msys.bat is run with the correct 
current directory:

cd /
cmd //c cd

It should output something like c:\msys\1.0

BTW, you can easily work around this by making a copy of the shortcut you 
normally use to start MSYS, then modify it by adding the parameter "MSYS" 
after "msys.bat ". You can then use the shortcut instead of typing 
msysdvlpr.
