Great! :)

You can test it by copying the ogog.pot file to po/ru/ogog.po,
then running rake gettext:make, and then setting the language in
config/config.rb to 'ru'. Then start up the local server with
script/server, and you can see OgOg with your translation.

Of course for this a full developer-installation is needed; here's
the howto for that: http://www.ogog.org/pub/docs/app/ (below the
Installation-header).
