Dear sirs:
When using joe as the default command-line editor (because it's the best :-) ) and using the latest Ubuntu (16.10): if you execute "sudo visudo"... you see that another "file" is opened, with an error:
Unknown option '--'

I suppose that Joe could support the "--" option to indicate that there are no more parameters, as a lot of programs do: grep, ls, cp, etc. This would be useful, and also would solve this bug.

    It has supported -- since 4.3. Ubuntu 16.10 packages 4.1. Build and install from source to get this working :-).

    Excellent! I've tried a beta version of Kubuntu 17.04 and Joe works as expected!
