Hi all, It's that time of the month again! New release available at: https://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=226514&package_id =274120 On the DB side there is only a minor change on some indexes (upgrade script provided). Of note, we added a preliminary support for reading lattice information: we are testing this internally and will use that feedback to iterate and improve before finalizing anything. Tools and API for the Component Type and Components are getting more cleaned as we are using them more heavily at BNL and I incorporate the feedback. The import capability of the Component Type Browser has been significantly improved, so it will be straight forward to import components from different sides. Full change log at: http://irmis.sourceforge.net/history.html For the next release, I'll keep refining the applications and the lattice side, as feedback comes in from our usage at BNL, and I'll start working on service and API for PV data. Hi Debby, Cool! Let me ask you, among these, what are you most interested: * using the API to write scripts that manipulate components in Java, Jython, or other scripting languages * creating new pages by manipulating applets and data in Javascript * internals of the applications code, to be able to create new widgets and new applications in Java * internals of the API code * internals of the server side code Also, it would be helpful if you can think of a project you want to get done (and maybe contribute if of general interest) either during the meeting, or starting it there and then continuing when you are back. Maybe you already have something in mind? Gabriele From: Debby Quock [mailto:qu...@ap...] Sent: Thursday, February 05, 2009 5:07 PM To: irm...@li...
