..we should declare it depreciated until it gets fixed as Olaf 
advices, the easy configuration speaks in favor of it in lan 
settings, and cipe can be wrapped in ssh or ipsec tunnels going 
out thru ipcop's.  Several more such old obsoleted tunnel types 
like pptp, can be wrapped in too.
