FreeRecover is a free file recovery program for NTFS drives. It allows you to search though and preview deleted files to find lost data. It also estimates the integrity of the deleted files, as well as retrieves their original file paths.
Hi David,
I had deleted some picture files from folders on my windows 10 desktop that I'd like to get back. I tried both kickass undelete as well as this freeRecover, both listing severla jpg files, and after recovering, the content of the recovered files is filled with zeros only.
Did you hear from that before?
My system is installed on a SSD. Is it possible that any drivers directs to wrong physical data positions? I attached a screenshot showing any jpg file sized 829126 Bytes showing as "estimted file integrity" >Excellent< and freeHexEditor showing the zero-only-content of the recovered file.
Best regards,
