I am considering doing a rewrite of DUNS, and am soliciting opinions about how to do it. If you'd like to comment, please go to the Open Discussion and post your comments. Thanks!
This version fixes some of the problems that people have been having with the precompiler (the -traditional-cpp flag) and some of the compilation errors. Also added in a makesystem file for Intel Compilers under Linux.
I have developed a set of web pages for the DUNS code that give a general description of the project, answer frequently asked questions, and has the tutorial online. I would also like to put a compatibility page and example pages on the web site, but have not done this yet. The home page is at http://duns.sourceforge.net.
A GPL'ed pre/post processor that supports duns has been released. Check out cgx at www.calculix.de.
I just uploaded 2.7.0 to the sf cvs server. Now we can checkout/fix/commit and we'll have nightly tarballs as backups.
the source tarball is now split into two: one for the source only and another test/example files only. src is 900KB, test 1.4MB. SHould be easier for the low speed d/ls.
2D/3D Multi-block CFD code DUNS moved to sourceforge.
Now the latest available sources are placed at the sourceforge site for easy download. The old MIT ftp site is down.
