Whenever I load a level with legacy DTX files made with, well, DTX 1 (via Winxp Virtual Machine through Virtual Box), it doesn't show the custom textures properly they all look corrupted. Take a look at (for example) level 16 of my WIP Mission, Nefarious Assault for proof

PS will it be possible to preserve the custom sounds included in D1 DTX files that were imported with, well, DTX 1.
Hmm... I think the two things are related. DLE doesn't account for the fact that the DTX patch might include sounds, too, not just bitmaps, and that results in reading the bitmaps from the wrong offsets.
And because it doesn't read sounds, it doesn't save them either. It looks like there isn't an easy way to solve that for now, which would make the quickest fix... don't save edits to DTX files, I guess.
It also affects non-xl levels that have any base textures replaced by TGA (not BMP) format textures then save the level and reload the level, the texture will look corrupted. but when importing a bmp texture with the corresponding pallete it works fine and dandy
The post above this one is in regards to regular d2 levels (for the non-xl levels part)
This should be resolved in version 1.12.32.
