Dear TIES Node Administrators, A new version of TIES Node software(v5.3) is now available for download from the TIES website (http://ties.dbmi.pitt.edu/download ) Learn more about this release on our Version History page.( http://ties.dbmi.pitt.edu/version-history ) This new version is not compatible with your existing version of the node software. Please proceed and upgrade your node using the installer. You can find upgrade instructions here: http://ties.dbmi.pitt.edu/upgrading-ties The upgrade should not take more than 30 minutes. We will be available via the user forums and scheduled online office hours to help with any issues you may run into. The default client software at (http://ties-spirit.dbmi.pitt.edu/ties/ ) will remain at v5.2 until June 7th after which it will be upgraded to v5.3. That should give you a week to upgrade your node software. However, even if you have not updated your node software in time, don't worry, we will keep the old client available for you to use at a different URL. You should update your bookmarks and any local TIES web pages to point to the correct version for your server. The older version of the client will be available at: http://ties-spirit.dbmi.pitt.edu/5.2/index.html If you update your node earlier than June 8th, you can test drive the new v5.3 client from here: http://ties-spirit.dbmi.pitt.edu/5.3/index.html -The TIES Team |

Dear TIES Node Administrators, We will be releasing a new version of TIES Node software(v5.3) on June 1st. Key features include: * Support for storing structured data. * Support for virtual slides. * Account Locking after several incorrect login attempts. * New Regulatory Administrator role. * Several bug fixes and usability improvements. Unfortunately, all those new features make this version incompatible with your current node server version (v5.1 or v5.2). So as soon as we release the new version of the software on June 1st, please proceed and upgrade your node using the installer. The upgrade should not take more than 30 minutes. We will be available via the user forums and scheduled online office hours to help with any issues you may run into. The default client software at (http://ties-spiritdbmi.pitt.edu/ties/) will remain at v5.2 until June 8th after which it will be upgraded to v5.3. You should update your bookmarks and any local TIES web pages to point to the correct version for your server. The older version of the client will be available at: http://ties-spirit.dbmi.pitt.edu/5_2/index.html If you update your node earlier than June 8th, you can test drive the new v5.3 client from here: http://ties-spirit.dbmi.pitt.edu/5_3/index.html -The TIES Team |

Maybe try running it under Admin privileges. You can do that by right clicking on the setup.exe and changing its security properties. We have a new version (5.0) coming out in the next month. It will be initially released as a VM image, which will make it very easy for you to get started with TIES. I would suggest waiting for it. -Girish ________________________________ From: Baligh, Joseph [AJB...@ua...] Sent: Wednesday, February 05, 2014 3:50 PM To: 'cat...@li...' Dear Qiang, Did you set the APPLICATION_STATUS for all the IDENTIFIED_PATHOLOGY_REPORT rows to DEIDENTIFYING ? Subject: [Caties-users] (no subject) Hi guys, Sorry for scam. The deidpipecontroller on our system cannot execute at the interval time (we set 15 mins) . The number of data needed to be deidentified is 351. It should execute at once when I start service manually on the "control panel\Administrative Tools\ service", but now it doesn't. You can see the service.log stops at "16:10:29,835 INFO SessionFactoryObjectFactory:82 - Not binding factory to JNDI, no JNDI name configured" and not goes next. Any suggestion? Thank you very much!
