Today will start a Reorganization of the Project. First we will create new software structure. We will seperate the part of the project which contains database part from that part which contains the scientific libs.

The access to the data will be managed by the EJB Technolgy.

The scientifc lib can be used standalone in JAVA Programms or will be provided by a CORBA Service (one of the next steps in the project).

Everyone who is interested in the project or who wants to send an email to the project members can subscribe to the public caswp-user mailinglist.

After the first demo file release a few days before christmas the project will come into the next phase.

The next step will be the implementation of the scientific library. The project is looking for this task for new members who will code this library.

This is the first release of the sofware package. It will be a demonstration of the possibilities of this project.

The demo_rmi_client v_0_0_1a and the caswp server v_0_0_1 are able to demonstrate on of the basic ideas of the project. These versions have to be download directly from cvs. A complete file release will follow the next days.

First file release with the official documentation. The next file release will contain the first version of the software.
