Hello,
I am having some problems finding the information about the compatible java versions for the newest (BBMap_38.96.tar.gz) release.
On the cluster I can use:
* 1.8
* 1.11
* 1.12
* graalvm-ce-java11-linux-amd64-22.1.0
* graalvm-ce-java17-linux-amd64-22.1.0
I can confirm that the 1.11 works just fine with clumpify, but it would be good to have compability info available somewhere easy to find.
Also: since there may be some performance differences among different java versions/implementations (see GraalVM), benchmarks may save soe CPU time.
Hope it helps.
Best wishes,

I am using HPC, no luck. I have also tried installing using conda environment. Still no luck .
Let me know if you have figured out the java version .
Thank you.
