Mac OSX 10.11.3 El Capitan. I can't get the software to run.
I have downloaded the following version: AEO-Light-OSX-1.1-2014b.zip 2015-08-25
I get the following window pop up when I try to open the application:
DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH is .:/Applications/MATLAB/MATLAB_Compiler_Runtime/v84/runtime/maci64:/Applications/MATLAB/MATLAB_Compiler_Runtime/v84/bin/maci64:/Applications/MATLAB/MATLAB_Compiler_Runtime/v84/sys/os/maci64
dyld: Library not loaded: @rpath/libmwlaunchermain.dylib
Referenced from: /Applications/AEO-Light.app/Contents/Resources/aeolight.app/Contents/MacOS/aeolight
Reason: image not found
/Applications/AEO-Light.app/Contents/Resources/script: line 49: 1207 Trace/BPT trap: 5 /Applications/AEO-Light.app/Contents/Resources/aeolight.app/Contents/MacOS/aeolight
There is only one button I can click, called QUIT. And obviously it just closes the application after that.
Do I require the MATLAB software to run this software? Are there additional libraries I need to get this to run? I have some 35mm trailers I'm getting scanned in and would like to use this software to decode the audio.
It doesn't require a full MATLAB license, no. But it does require the free MATLAB runtime (version 2014b in this case), available from the link in the REAME : https://sourceforge.net/projects/aeolight/files/
Thanks for replying. I can’t believe what an idiot I’m being. I’m usually the first person to say READ THE F’ING MANUAL.
Got it working now. I also have some quotes coming for 35mm xfer to DPX!
