It would he nice if covers for movies could be shown. Maybe there is a way to call AWS or something similar in the background. To avoid to many WS calls in runtime a persistent cache might be possible.

    http://www.tinymediamanager.org/ - it is in Java and has hands down the
    best scraping engine I have seen (and I tried many for my XBMC setup)

    Thanks, I had a quick look on there website and it sounds very good. As soon as I manage to have a closer look I will analyse whether we can integrate it somehow :) (I am afraid it's a little bit too heavy engine for our app).
