Just as xournal can be used for annotating PDF, I would like to be able to do the same on djvu files.

I would love this feature!

A large portion of the scanned in books and articles I have on my disk are in djvu-format, would be great it I could write notes in them using Xournal.

Is djvu dead? -- if so, is there any promising format to replace djvu?
