Hi,
Here's a source for map data, including coastline and politicical boundaries.
http://rimmer.ngdc.noaa.gov/coast/getcoast.html

In the portion of the form titled "Coastline data base"  there are choices
including political boundaries.  It returns ASCII data files of longitude,
latitude.
