Hi -
A resource for map outlines is this link:
http://rimmer.ngdc.noaa.gov/coast/getcoast.html

You can request country and other political boundaries,
rivers, and coastlines.   I can't help with getting these into
the form you'll need to display them with Vis5D, but it's
a start.
