Duplicate same filters and internal logo filter improvement

Hi, copy/paste is reasonable request and this was already asked before...
Currently it is possible to use "master blend" filter as intermediate UI, it does have copy/paste for filters. Also if you need multiple copies it is probably some kind of animation that can be helped by master blend.
I have "fflayer" filter which is similar to "logo" and it handles "shift+click" to set pixel offset.

Resizing logo is actually possible but too weird to be realistic. Better to say it is not supported but if you are curious you need to manipulate multiple filter paths using "name output" and "add input" and also "merge layers" filter.

thank you for the infos so far.The master blend filter isnt so simple to use (I dont check this filter yet) to work with.

Yes the fflayer filter seems to be a good alternative using mouse click and shift (maybe some dragging / moving of image with mouse would be more better).If I see it right then you are the author of this filter.Maybe you could add also those + / - buttons or better a mouse wheel up / down scrolling in those edit controls to adjust quickly the offset positions for a fine adjustment to prevent using keybord to enter values you know.

I also have seen this menu in the filter window to set output names / add input and I tried to play with them but didnt get it work yet.Could you maybe explain this in detail or any example how to use this feature correctly?I was testing it but I dont get the video itself untouched.Anyway whether I am setting source or output names of the filters you know.

Just would like to know whether its possible to resize the logo filter loaded image with the resize filter and not changing the video size itself.Maybe you have some more infos I could try out for this task.

I was wrong, this cant be completely solved with current filters.
The problem is "blend layers" does not use alpha to blend.
Almost working setup in picture :(
To use "blend layers" you need to apply 2 "add input" to it and select appropriate inputs.

thanks for your answer so far.I tried it but this dosent work pretty well and looking good.Also just too much detour and no simple handling to work that way.Maybe you could improve the fflayer / logo filter in any next VD2 version to be able to resize images on fly with any easier method if its doable.That would be nice.I am using the logo (or now fflayer) pretty often with diffrent png (alpha blend) and would like to prevent resizing each time the images with any extern tool to use it in VD2 with the xy video resolution.

just wanna ask again whether its possible to change the logo filter itself without to change the video itself?After a long while I wanted to try this again out a little and I think somehow it should work but I don't get it work when using Name output & Add Input functions.As I said before my goal is it to change the logo filter (image) with other filter like resize the logo or chaning color values of the logo using 6-axis filter on the logo.Is it possible or not?When its possible could you then show & post examples how to setup the filters in the filer window correctly?Lets make it easy now....

1.) I wanna change the logo color using 6-axis filter without to change the color of the video.How to make that?

When you got it working then tell me how or make a snapshot of filters window so that I can see what to set etc.That would be nice again before I am getting crazy.

uhmm thats really bad to hear Anton.Could you make it doable in the future to modify the logo filter with other filters (color / resize etc)?I really hate that detour handling to edit & change logos extra with other tools outside whats normaly not needed to do because VD2 can do it already just not seperated at the moment.Maybe you can think about it to make it work in a next release so that would be great.Or maybe its already working when you do try to check and change the filter settings (Add Input / source / preview / ) anyhow.Maybe you can find or do something you could change.

just wanna ask again to improve the internal Logo filter / fflayer filter.So the first important thing to add would be a quick logo mover via mouse itself to set new positions without using the +/- keys.You should add a faster method.Also the method on fflayer by using shift+click is bad and not accurate.Better would be a shift or strg+mouse hold button down to move the logo to a exactly desired point anywhere on the video and that would be much faster instead using those position buttons you know.

I prefer using the internal Logo filter and in that case it would be nice if you could update this one with my request.

I also have another question / request about that internal Logo filter.In some cases I have to use diffrent Logo filters at the same time whats also possible to set any Logo anywhere I want.Now I wanna ask whether its possible to connect Logo filters with each other and to auto update the positions of all other Logo filters from the first Logo filter.

Example: Just add 2 Logo filters and set both logos on any position you want.Now I wanna mark the first logo filter as MASTER and other Logo filters after as SLAVE.After that the SLAVE marked Logo filters must change the position if the MASTER LF does change the position.Do you know what I mean?I do setup 2 LFs to specific position and then I wanna enable the Master/Slave mode and on every change I do now in the MASTER LF (lets say I change the X offset from 0 to 10) then the SLAVE LF should also ADD 10 points to the X offset.You know.In that case I don't need to update all other LFs manually each time if I need to change the position of the first LF.That would be a cool feature too.Just think about it.I would be already happy if you could just add the quick mouse mover function to move the logo quickly in the internal filter as I told already.

over a year ago since my last post and I see you still didn't update & improve the logo filter/s what makes me really sad. Would be nice if you could do it if possible. Also if you could just add a free-hand logo moving (left mouse hold down & move on desired location of the image) without to press the value +/- buttons or entering a value manually or scroll. If you don't want to update VD2 for this then maybe you could just create a new custom filter we could add in VD2 later if you don't mind.

I have another question about VD2. I would like to know whether its possible to repleace any frame/s with a other frame of same video without to change the audio track / frame itself? In VD2 is a option called mask selected frames and then just this one / same frame at the start of selection is showing for entire selection what is good. Now would like to do same just with a other frame of the video. Somehow I need to copy any single frame from anywhere I want of the video and then I wanna repleace it with the frame of the selection start / mask. How can I do this? Keep in mind I want the audio track untouched and just need to copy/paste the video frame only. At the moment I just found a detour to export any frame to HDD as image and then using the logo filter + blend mode but thats really a detour. Is there any method how to do this better and quicker in VD2?

@shekhjkl Can you at least post the source for avlib-1.vdplugin so we can recompile it with new libav? We need support for AV1 decoding.
