When you’re unplugged, we’ll boost your battery by turning off Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and your hard disk when they’re not in use. When you’re unplugged, we automatically preserve your battery. Set Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, your hard disk, and other power-drainers to switch off when they’re not in use. Intelligently optimize your device’s CPU performance and display brightness to conserve power. Set Battery Saver to automatically switch on whenever your device is unplugged. Depending on which Battery Saver profile is enabled, Avast Battery Saver may reduce your processor speed to extend battery life. When working with office applications or browsing the web, you should not notice a difference.
