Nevron Open Vision for .NET is a suite of advanced components for .NET application development under WinForms, WPF, and Xamarin.Mac. All the components in the suite are cross platforms. NOV changes how you develop with .NET as with it you can write UI code that runs on Windows and Mac OS X without any modifications. Further, NOV provides a consistent window-less UI experience that provides fast and efficient management of UI resources, flicker-free, and 4K-enabled interfaces. All controls in the suite are GPU accelerated. Besides quality common UI controls (buttons, checkboxes, list boxes, tree view, etc.) NOV also includes class-leading heavy controls such as Barcode, Chart, Diagram, Gauge, Grid, Rich-Text Editor, and Scheduler. All controls in the suite are implemented both as native NOV controls and as platform-specific - WinForm, WPF, or Xamarin. Mac controls, which allows you to simply drag and drop them to your forms. All common UI controls in the suite are completely free.

Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) is a Windows-only user interface framework in .NET that uses a resolution-independent, vector-based rendering engine to take advantage of modern graphics hardware and enable visually rich desktop applications with features such as XAML markup, a comprehensive control set, data binding, layout, 2D/3D graphics, animation, styles, templates, documents, media, text, and typography, and the ability to incorporate other .NET APIs. WPF exists as a subset of .NET types in the System.Windows namespace and supports familiar programming constructs like instantiating classes, setting properties, calling methods, handling events, plus enhanced constructs such as dependency properties and routed events. Developers build UIs declaratively with XAML and implement behavior in code-behind, simplifying separation of interface and logic while supporting globalization and collaboration between designers and coders.
