Pros: Ease of deployment can be done with on prem relay or via agent install. The deployment and setup can be done in minutes and pushed out via RMM.

Cons: The tool does not report the individual user in a shared computer environment.

Overall: I'm very pleased with the product overall. The purchase and deployment was smooth and have very little issues.

Pros: The ease of configuring.
The filters work well.
The customizable client facing response is easily managed.
The support team has been outstanding.

Cons: The lack of user permissions.
Would like to see more reporting features in the portal.

Overall: The product has been a success.
The biggest issue we are experiencing is the lack of user permissions. For a Service Desk setting with multiple levels of support it is important to have a role based solution rather than the current admin or nothing option.
Deploying has been easier than expected and the support from the WebTitan team has been great.

Pros: WebTitan was extremely easy to set up and configure. Once the DNS has been redirected to the WTC proxy effective and granular policies are immediately put in place.

Cons: Report generation and operations in the WTC UI can be slow.

Overall: We replaced a Barracuda hardware solution with WebTitan DNS filtering almost three years ago and the results have not been.

Pros: Easy to manage and configure.
Price is competitive with other web filtering technologies.
The active directory integration feature is beneficial in terms of users' behaviour.

Cons: More features can be added or enhanced.
Looks of dashboard can be enhanced.

Overall: Overall it is a good service. We are satisfied and in the future, hopeful for more changes in features and reporting.

Pros: Uses DNS rather than proxy or client. Easy to manage. Reporting is available.
Pricing is excellent, especially for non-profits.
Cloud based so no equipment to buy.
Support is mostly unnecessary. It is good when needed but a little slow likely because of the time difference.

Cons: Not much to dislike! There have been a few sites that get thru due to an incorrect category and some that should but don't for the same reason. Easy to fix though.

Overall: Overall an excellent product. We purchased licenses for a small classroom. Could be used for any group but particularly good for our non-profits. Users connect to the internet via terminal server using thin clients. Setup took less than an hour. It has been very helpful in controlling access to harmful or inappropriate sites.

Pros: The service was great! The rep was courteous, patient, and extremely helpful as we navigated the bureaucracy that often goes with the territory when working under the umbrella of a municipal organization and seeking approval for changes.

Cons: I have no complaints. The rep assisted me with any questions or concerns I had, and I feel she went above and beyond to make sure the transition to TitanHQ went smoothly.

Overall: My experience was a positive one! I am thankful for this service. The sales rep was very helpful! I highly recommend!

Pros: The system very easy to setup and administer. The content categories always work as expected. We've never had a surprise connection, which was a common occurrence with the big name filter we replaced.

Cons: A more detailed usage report would be helpful at times. However, the supplied reports cover the requirements on most occasions.

Overall: Excellent overall experience from purchase, installation, and daily operation. We have passed every security audit for content filtering since we switched to WebTitan. That alone is worth the license fee.

Pros: It is easy to set up and use. It is also easy to customize. It is also very flexible and the data is great feedback.

Cons: The set up we used required knowing some command line terms. If you're not familiar with the terms it can be a little rough going. Once you've installed it a few times, it becomes easier.

Overall: Overall it is easy to use and does exactly what it is supposed to do. It is easy to use and flexible.

Pros: Product works great at protecting public computers from unwanted internet sights. Easy to set up and use.

Cons: No cons to report at this time. Works as expected.

Overall: Would recommend this product to any library or school that needs Child Internet Protection for grants, etc.

Pros: Just 4 simple steps to set this up and protect all the devices inside our networks. Includes support for locations defined by Dynamic DNS (DDNS) critical these days with folks working from home.

Cons: I wish the weekly "malware clients" report would have the number of records in the subject. I have to open the pdf attached to the email just to see "no records found".

Overall: Expectations Exceeded!

I was concerned about not having time to set this up, but it was amazingly easy. Took a few days to tune the policies, but in nearly 2 years, it has worked flawlessly. Occasionally I get a blocked request report - nearly always from someone's cell phone.

And oh - there was a new hire who kept generating blocked requests. (Turned out to be just one symptom of many -- but an unexpected corroborating insight from WebTitan)

Pros: That the IT set it up and all site that I wanted blocked are blocked. I am really still learning how to navigate the system.

Cons: Right now I cannot find anything negative to say about the item.

Overall: Still have not gotten an up date as to where they changed the yearly dates because we never received the email to start it until about 2 weeks ago.
