"All-in-one tool that replaced spreadsheets" Posted 2025-10-11
Pros: SimplyDepo gives us one platform where we can manage everything - orders, invoicing, reporting, and even route planning. For a small team like ours, that’s a huge time saver. The interface is intuitive, easy to onboard new users, and feels designed specifically for CPG distribution rather than a generic sales tool.
Cons: No major issues so far. Because the product is evolving quickly, sometimes we see new features rolling out that require us to adjust how we work. But overall, the improvements are a net positive, and the team has been good about listening to our needs.
Overall: Before SimplyDepo, we relied on spreadsheets for order management and reporting, which was slow and error-prone. We reduced manual order work by about 30%, save hours each week with automated reporting. SimplyDepo turned our scattered processes into a clear, connected system - helping us scale confidently without adding unnecessary overhead.

"Finally aligned our sales and merchandising teams" Posted 2025-10-09
Pros: I used to spend days reconciling wholesale orders that came in through email and phone calls. Customers would send incomplete information, and our sales reps often had to chase them down. With SimplyDepo’s customer portal, buyers can simply reorder from their past purchases with one click. That small change has reduced back-and-forth communication dramatically. On the finance side, QuickBooks integration makes reconciliation straightforward. I now spend minutes instead of hours on monthly closing. I’d call it one of the best wholesale distribution accounting software solutions for growing CPG brands.
Cons: The portal works great but looks very “out of the box.” I’d love more white-labeling options so that customers feel like they’re interacting with our brand directly.
Overall: Order processing time dropped from 48 hours delay to real time. I no longer spend weekends catching up on corrections. Our customers are happier too they feel empowered to handle reorders themselves, which has increased repeat business.

"Mobile app keeps us moving in the field" Posted 2025-10-09
Pros: Our reps are constantly on the road, often in rural areas where cell coverage is unreliable. The offline mobile capability of SimplyDepo has been an absolute game changer in NY area. They can log orders, upload photos, and take notes on site, then sync everything once they’re back online. Even my team members who are not tech-savvy picked it up quickly. That says a lot about how intuitive the system is. The customer support team deserves credit they’ve been responsive to our requests and even implemented a few small changes we asked for.
Cons: At the very beginning, we struggled with customizing fields for our specific data. Some of the default setups didn’t fit our exact needs. Over time, SimplyDepo expanded customization options, so it’s less of a pain point now, but it was a hurdle initially.
Overall: We used to rely on paper tickets, phone calls, and separate apps to manage field activities. It was messy, error-prone, and gave us zero visibility until the reps came back to the office. Now, all field data flows into one system in real time. Leadership finally has the transparency we needed to measure performance and ensure compliance. Productivity is up, disputes are down, and our reps spend more time selling instead of shuffling paperwork.

"Retail execution solution" Posted 2025-10-09
Pros: I run a beverage brand we sold only online but now switching to growing wholesale arm. Finding a retail execution platform that could handle both worlds felt impossible until we came across SimplyDepo. The integration with QuickBooks has been a lifesaver. Invoices are generated instantly, and reconciliation no longer eats up my weekends. My reps now take wholesale orders offline at trade shows and sync them when they’re back online.
Cons: Since SimplyDepo is more distribution-oriented, some features like route planning aren’t relevant to us. I’d love to see more ecommerce focused dashboards, like lifetime value of wholesale buyers or churn tracking.
Overall: We were buried in manual processes. Wholesale orders came via email, which my staff manually keyed into spreadsheets. Errors were common, and reconciling with accounting was painful. SimplyDepo eliminated that. Orders go straight into the portal, synced to QuickBooks, and everything is audit-ready. It has freed up at least 15 hours a week across our small team, which is huge for a startup like ours.

"Revolutionised The Way We Manage Our Wholesale Relationships" Posted 2025-10-09
Pros: As a sales director, my mission is to enable my team and provide as smooth of an experience as possible for our clients. The immediate win for buyers at SimplyDepo was how simple the digital ordering portal was for them; they encountered no resistance in adopting it. It has integrated smoothly with QuickBooks Online which has helped provide a live look at the customer credits and order history to my team immediately prior to visiting with a sales call. Shout out for the customer support team, who assisted us to re-brand numbers portal!
Cons: I would love to see some more advanced CRM-like features baked in there like tracking customer communication, or setting sales activity reminders. For now we have to do that on a separate platform, but more seamless integration would be the dream.
Overall: Our sales team found themselves in this terrible scanners that ops used to provide them visibility on how many of our specialty SKUs we had in stock. This resulted in delays and occasionally we would promise something when it wasn’t going to be possible. SimplyDepo solved that. Our customers were ordering stuff directly into a system that knows our live inventory instead of us, completely cutting out those “embarrassing stockout conversations.” My team are not data clerks any more — they are relationship managers. It has resulted in a substantial increase in order size and frequency from our wholesale accounts, which have become used to having ordering be as easy as online shopping for them. It’s been a game-changer for us, in terms of our scalability.

"Route optimization that saves money and time" Posted 2025-10-09
Pros: We operate a beverage distribution fleet that covers multiple regions, and dispatching has always been one of the most stressful parts of my job. With SimplyDepo, route planning is now drag-and-drop simple. I can rebalance deliveries in seconds if a truck breaks down or if we need to add last-minute stops. Drivers immediately see updated schedules on their phones, and since it’s integrated with QuickBooks, delivery notes and invoices always match. It feels like the type of retail distribution software that was built by people who understand what dispatchers and drivers really need.
Cons: The migration from our old system took longer than I hoped. We spent about three weeks cleaning and uploading legacy data, which slowed us down in the short term. That said, now that everything is in, it’s been running smoothly.
Overall: Before SimplyDepo, we constantly dealt with missed stops, outdated paper logs, and endless phone calls between drivers and dispatchers. Now, our drivers complete more visits per week, and dispatch coordination time has been cut by more than half. It’s given us not just savings in fuel and time, but also peace of mind that operations won’t collapse if someone is out sick or a truck gets rerouted.

"Very convenient platform for CPG distributors or brands to have all you need in one place." Posted 2023-05-16
Pros: The platform is extremely user-friendly. You really get what they are promising - a consumer-like experience. Easy to navigate, easy to operate. I really like the onboarding, even though it is a little bit undefined but it was productive, friendly, and tailored to our business.
We are CPG brand owners but I think this platform fits to distributors of CPG even more as the functionality here is very strong. Managing and expanding retail store contacts on this platform with a mobile app is very easy - my favorite one.Cons: Communication (customer service) is friendly and helpful however kinda fragmented as they do not have too many people to do it. They did not have an import data feature yet but it is in progress already. In general, the platform is new and you can find some minor issues here and there but improvements are also got delivered fast.
Overall: Very positive. This is definitely a great new solution in a market that everybody needs to evaluate.

Pros: Huge functionality, effective and comprehensive.
Time and money saver. Offline mode is a huge plus, since in Manhattan poor connection sometimes could be a big problem.Cons: Using their platform for 3 months and hadn’t found anything critical.
Overall: Our beverage brand has self distribution, and SD helps us a lot in all areas. With check in/out functions we can see the situation on the “field. Adding photos and comments helps a lot in the management of each individual store.
