Plasfy

Pros: None nothing nada zip zilch I have nothing but issues and trouble with it and support is not doing anything.

Cons: Bought this software as it promised to be like Canva (which I love) but with a lifetime key.

Since day one I have been experiencing multiple problems with this software and getting support seems to be impossible (and not for a lack of trying on my part)

The problems:
Regularly when loading a template the template gets messed up and doesn’t look like it should (still no support on this 6 months later)
Regularly background removal doesn’t work, I sometimes need to try 5-6 times before the background is removed and sometimes it doesn’t remove at all (no error, and still no support on this after 6 months)
Regularly I am no longer able to upload images from my pc. No error messages, it just doesn’t display the uploaded images
My current project is not able to save, I’ve tried it many times, both with the save template as well as the normal save button, saving as a new design etc. It saves the first 1-3 images in my project and the rest it ignores. This leads me to loosing my work constantly! Extremely frustrating! So I started to download the images as soon as I created them and that worked for the first 20 and after that the downloaded images where a jumble of readable and transparent all within the same images (which is not how I designed them). And when I discover a typo in an image I have to create the whole dam thing again because I am not able to save all the images I create.

I asked for support on this more than a month ago via chat, they told me to log a ticket, I logged a ticket, got confirmation of the ticket and nothing happened, no support. After 2 weeks I inquired about the status of my ticket to be told no ticket was logged for me. I could contact support directly via email. I contacted support directly via email and got a response back, but only to the part of it that was about the now downloading well, everything I wrote about it not even saving was ignored. I send an email back explaining everything again, telling them what file to look for and again after two weeks of no response decided to email them asking for an update only to get an automated response that that email address (a support@ email address!!) was not being monitored and that I should log a ticket! You understand my frustration!

Overall: I logged a support ticket, again got confirmation, this time from a different support@ email address, so I decided to forward the whole email convo I was having before on the other support email asking for an update, only to get a response back that I should not log multiple tickets (?! I logged one…..) saying they have millions of users that don’t have this problem, asking me for the file name and an extensive description of the problem I having (which I only send to them 5 time in chat, email, ticket system)

Clearly these people don’t know what they are doing, they keep sending me around the bush and I haven’t received any form of support yet in the 6 month i have been having these problems after purchasing their lifetime subscription.

Don’t buy this software, save yourself the stress!

Pros: Ease of use:

Pros: An amazing number of designs and integrates with Pixabay and other free image sites. Good for logo making and business designs.

Cons: Sometimes, images load a bit slow but it's not a show stopper at all.

Overall: This is an absolutely incredible value that beats the socks off Canva. Loads of designs for limitless design possibilities.

Pros: It is easy to use.
It is cloud based.
It was a lifetime offer without subscription/monthly fees.
I can use my own/custom graphics with Plasfy.

Cons: Constant other products being offered on dashboard.
Fact that additional products are from third parties and may not last.
Need video editor and assets.

Overall: It was easily to order and price was good for Black Friday. Overall very pleased with Plasfy thus far.

Pros: A Canva pro like application, not yet equal but evolving.
Easy to use, already a big choice of templates.

Cons: Slow, but getting better.
Not as nice as Canva but evolving.

Overall: A lot of possibilities and a very competitive lifetime price.
Be sure to find the good template for your project.

Pros: Offers lots of capabilities similar to Canva at fraction of the cost. Large # of included templates, images, frames etc.

Cons: Performance - application is very slow, easy to lose interest
Usability - Glitches on working with elements e.g. text box not easily selectable or movable. Pictures don't show correctly when dropped in frames.

Overall: It's a great promising alternative to Canva, but need to fix the kinks asap.

Pros: Simple but powerful. Quite flexible.

A lot of templates and possibilities.

I tried evry possibilities and it worked quite well.

Cons: A bit slow sometimes. Maybe the server is not powerful enough

Overall: Very good software that gives a lot of possibilities.

Pros: Easy to use, powerful, they put the focus on the essentials you need. I couldn't believe what you could get for the price they offered it for.

Cons: I know this sounds biased, but I don't like I didn't know this existed. I struggled with other programs for awhile and wasted time.

Overall: I'm not an artist but my various ventures require me to create posts, ads, posters and even some basic logos. I tried using photoshop and it was complicated. This takes the essentials and makes it work!
Highly recommend.

Pros: I have Plasfy a try since I've been looking for a more affordable option to Canva or VistaCreate. The homepage is easy to navigate, with options to the left of the design screen. The template options are massive, almost too many for a relative newbie at designing promo materials. I like dozens of font options, as well as the ability to tailor the colors to an existing graphic. It was also easy to save the finish product and download it, too. I'm looking forward to trying out new features as I create more graphics.

Cons: The system was slower than I would prefer, but not a deal breaker. And I love the option for a one-time purchase instead of a monthly subscription. The money I will save makes me very happy!

Pros: If you've used Canva, Plasfy has a very similar set up so it's quick to convert.

Pros: I'm working creating e-books for clients. I need to create text, graphics, images and e-book covers. I found Plasfy. Now I'm telling about e-book cover. A lot of templates to choose (and with dozen of good choices, very good). Easy to edit (I'm Brazilian and need the results in Portuguese. I recommend.

Cons: I think that always have opportunities to improve but I'm happy with Plasfy.

Cons: Plasfy doesn't do videos or social media scheduling. These two benefits would really help. Also AI generation would be cool to see.

Overall: Very useful graphic design software with lots of benefits and bonuses for users. It is just getting up and started so at the moment it is great value.
