"Great for organizing and keeping up with people for your business." Posted 2025-12-18
Pros: The non profit I work for uses this software to have one place to track and follow up with people that are interested in knowing more about what we do (that hopefully leads to working with us). Once you understand what features are there, it is very easy to use. I am on and off Nutshell all day, and have to teach other teammates how to use it sometimes. The automations make it easy to communicate with your network once a new person drops into your pipeline. That takes one thing off of my plate, but still leaves a personal touch with the person on the other side of the email/text. Setting reminders (aka activities) keeps me on task without having to backtrack to figure out what my next step is. You just keep moving forward! And customer support is nice because if I have a FAQ, then the chat bot can answer it. The bot starts off by saying if you want to talk with a real person then say that and we will get you connected, so there is no waiting and being frustrated with a robot.
Cons: The hard part of Nutshell is the same as any tech related thing. You have to figure out the different features. Nutshell provides support and trainings that give you an overview of how to use it as well as updated trainings when a new feature is added. So, once you learn the new feature, you are able to integrate it into making your job easier.
Overall: If it wasn't for Nutshell, I would have to keep a separate document to keep tabs on hundreds of people at a time, continuously searching my email to see if the person responded or if I still hadn't responded yet, having a separate calendar just for reminders to follow up with people after a certain amount of time, etc. However, with Nutshell, that is for the most part automated and all in one place. It saves me hours in my workday. I can just start doing the task I am supposed to.

"Nutshell is Affordable and Easy to Use" Posted 2025-12-18
Pros: Nutshell is easy to use and took little time to understand how to use the basic components. I have also found the application to be affordable for my small business. I like that it keeps track of all my interactions with my clients.
Cons: I would like the fonts to be larger and darker to make reading the content easier.
Overall: Overall I recommend this application for anyone in sales as I use it to keep track of leads and the resulting sales from those people who become clients.

"Lack of support, not built for our type of company (so we've been told)" Posted 2025-12-18
Pros: Email, sales, and lead management all in one. Being able to email and call contacts directly from the system is a benefit
Cons: Lack of support, implementing workarounds because the team is unwilling to implement solutions for service based companies. "Nutshell isn't made for that, but you can do this instead and it kind of works"
Overall: Data inaccuracies, lack of trust in our lists, the "AI" has muddied our list and created many duplicates even though I have turned this feature off, it still adds irrelevant people and companies.

Pros: This product is extremely easy to use, anything that we have not been able to accomplish on our own has been easily solved using their long list of integrated partners!
Cons: Frequent updates to the user GUI can cause confusion for some of our employees.
Overall: I would recommend this product to any company of any size. I could go on for days about how much we enjoy this CRM.

Overall: We tried a few CRM's before going with Nutshell. This is just really well thought out from features to structure

"A Long-Time Go-To CRM for Our Agency" Posted 2025-12-18
Pros: Nutshell is one of the most user-friendly CRMs we’ve used as a marketing agency. We’ve been in and out of the platform for almost 10 years, and it’s remained a reliable option whenever we want something powerful without unnecessary complexity. The mobile app is excellent for logging notes and updates right after meetings, and the email and calendar integrations keep everything organized in one place.
Cons: If you’re looking for an ultra-enterprise solution with endless customization, this may not be the right fit — but for agencies, that simplicity is a strength.
Overall: We’ve relied on Nutshell CRM on and off for nearly a decade, which says a lot given how many CRMs we’ve evaluated over the years.

Nutshell stands out for its ease of use and affordability compared to platforms like HubSpot and Salesforce. The mobile app is robust and makes it easy to log notes and update deals right after meetings, which helps keep data accurate and current.
The email and calendar integrations are also a big plus, allowing our team to manage relationships without jumping between systems. For marketing agencies working with small to mid-market clients, Nutshell is a strong, dependable CRM. -

The interface is clean, onboarding is straightforward, and it genuinely improves productivity without adding unnecessary complexity.
Cons: Some advanced features and customization options are limited compared to larger CRM platforms.
Overall: my experience with Nutshell has been positive. It’s easy to use, intuitive, and effective for managing contacts and deals, especially for small teams that want a straightforward CRM without unnecessary complexity.

"Easy to use, user-friendly, great customizations!" Posted 2025-12-18
Pros: How easy to use and onboard new employees, the overall level of customization available especially for integrating with our existing systems, and the short overall learning curve to use and customize it for our needs.
Cons: There’s really nothing to dislike from my end, it’s really easy to use and more importantly really easy to customize so that we rarely run into issues with it and when we do, it’s a user issue and not a platform issue. I honestly wish every other software was this well thought out!
Overall: I’ve been using Nutshell for a couple years now, first as a general user and now an admin too. It gets daily use from me and not having it would make my life so much more needlessly difficult. It truly solves a lot of minor problems and makes managing the larger issues much simpler. Having it interface with our existing system is amazing and saves a ton of time and expense for not having to migrate things from a legacy system.

"Excellent tool for small to medium businesses looking to sophisticate marketing" Posted 2025-12-18
Pros: We receive Nutshell use as part of large agency agreement to a suite of various marketing platforms and tools. Excellent value for money. The fact that we can access landing page development, customer lead data etc. quickly and easily within a great UX is awesome.
Cons: Some limitations on how accessible it is to export customer data. Would like 2 way, real time updates to meeting management so availability is current.
Overall: We are really just getting started with this tool. We love the email feature- it's been very easy to get an email program up and running. Excellent, intuitive user interface. Looking to use more landing page and visitor IQ data. We leverage our agency for support, we have never used Nutshell customer support directly.

"Nutshell Works Awesome for our Small Sales Team" Posted 2025-12-18
Pros: I like the affordability and ease of use. It's very easy for new employees to jump in and learn how to use.
Cons: Sometimes the capabilities are limited in the leads stage. I would like to be able to add on the same goal/task completion across multiple stages. For example, receiving an email response to a message.
Overall: I'm quite happy with Nutshell. We've been using it for 5 years now. We've had employees come and go, but people all seem to like it. Other software CRMs might have more advanced capabilities, but for our team, Nutshell has plenty to offer. Their customer service and support are both great.

"One of a Kind!" Posted 2025-12-17
Pros: I love everything about Nutshell, but there are two things that stand out to me: Ease of use and Reporting.
Nutshell has been easy to use from day one. It's easy to train on, easy to pickup as a user, easy to make changes, etc.
The reporting is amazing. I cannot express how helpful it is to have a system that allows me to create custom fields and report on them!Cons: My only complaint is that sometimes features change. This is generally announced beforehand, and feedback is requested afterward. But I do wish some changes were optional rather than mandatory.
Overall: FANTASTIC from beginning to present. I've worked with numerous CRMs, and Nutshell is by far my favorite and preferred CRM. My entire team has found the system to be easy to use and customize. I recommend Nutshell 100 percent!

"Nutshell for property management " Edited 2025-12-18
Pros: The program helps identify the source of leads and collect them into one screen. It also helps identify the value of each lead.
Cons: It could have many other pipeline options as sometimes the leads are lost for reasons not mentioned on the system. Also, the system make duplicates sometimes, making things a little complicated.
Overall: Overall I use Nutshell on a daily basis to insert information regarding new clients and it does the job well as it tracks the leads.

Pros: Very user friendly and intuitive user interface.
very little training for the sales staff to get going.
Love the APIs. plenty of datapoints for automating and syncing out internal software. Love the Email feedback features in the marketing sectionCons: Would like to see an additional API in the marketing section.
would be helpful for scrubbing Email on our local databaseOverall: Works well with all our systems. Sales staff did not need an advanced degree to get it to work. APIs are very well supported. return for investment is very high

"A Useful CRM" Posted 2025-12-17
Pros: Nutshell does a good job of organizing and maintaining full records of interactions, conversations, emails, and notes with our customers. The relationship of Person to Company to Lead is useful. The communication tools for reaching out to customers directly from Nutshell are also very good. The commitment to an available REST API is essential for our use and something I really appreciate and respect about Nutshell.
Cons: There is limited flexibility in some of the features of Nutshell. For example in the automations, it is limited as to what can be used to trigger the next step or to trigger an automatic email/communication. I wish that leads could function more completely as orders in and of themselves, with the ability to include percentage based line items such as sales tax or apply discounts to all of the products on a lead.
Overall: I find Nutshell to be a great CRM, and I'm very happy with features such as the REST API for being able to connect with other software products we use. However I'd like to see more options to tailor the CRM to our specific business needs.

Pros: Its simple to use, and straightforward. It integrates email and other platforms directly, making it easy to see responses from clients in one place. It also allows for a more collaborative sales process, as you can easily see which tasks your colleagues have completed and see their communication too.
Cons: It does not make it easy to log repeat customer transactions, membership/subscription based services.
Overall: I would recommend, its great for smaller organization to grow themselves. Its been able to help transform our sales team into an efficient group of organized professionals, and get everybody on the same page.
